Missions

The Institutional Support Unit provides support to the strategy of the institution, its authorities, its academic structures and its administrative services. Under the direction of the rectoral authorities and in close collaboration with the administrator, the cell is structured in four complementary teams that work closely with the expertise of the administrations, faculties and research sectors.

Data Collection and Analysis and Strategically Useful Information (RADIUS)

From the various existing institutional databases or via specific information collection, the RADIUS team's mission is to :

  • define and monitor key indicators in the areas of teaching, research, finance, human resources, real estate, etc.;
  • create and update specific dashboards for each type of user;
  • coordinate the construction of the institutional datawarehouse with the support of the SEGI.

Quality Management and Accompaniment Department (SMAQ)

The SMAQ team's mission is to promote, coordinate and disseminate a quality culture. It implements and accompanies the evaluations organized internally and those carried out by the ULiège by evaluating, certifying or accrediting organizations. It also accompanies the authorities in the implementation of their strategic plan in relation to the results of internal evaluations and supports the implementation of a quality system for any institutional entity, whether it is for training, research or administration.

Sustainable development & Green office

The sustainable development team is in charge of the implementation of the institutional program of environmental and social transition of ULiège. The Green Office is more specifically in charge of supporting the university community's initiatives in favor of sustainable development.

Strategy support

The strategy support team contributes to the missions of the academic authorities and to the achievement of their strategic objectives. It ensures the coordination and monitoring of the institutional strategic plan, participates in the design and implementation of cross-cutting projects and investigates files for the academic authorities in consultation with the administrations and internal expertise.
