Biography

Quentin PIRONNET (master in public law ULiège, LLM in legal theory Queen Mary University of London) is a lecturer (maître de conférence) in public law at the University of Liège since October 2016. He teaches the course "Introduction to Belgian law: Public law", a compulsory course taught in English for Erasmus students.

After having been a research and teaching assistant for 4 years (2015-2019), he continues to be a member of the Centre for Public and Constitutional Law of the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Criminology. His research focuses primarily on constitutional law and legal theory but also on the relationships between law and art. Since 2023, Quentin Pironnet has been a research associate at the CITÉ Research Unit.

Outside the University of Liège, Quentin Pironnet is a referendar at the Belgian Constitutional Court. He is also temporary lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and deputy member of the Commission d'Accès aux Documents Administratifs in Brussels. Since January 2024, Quentin Pironnet pursues doctoral research in legal theory at the School of Advanced Study (University of London).
