Biography
David Peleman was trained as an engineer-architect at Ghent University, where also obtained his doctoral degree in architecture (2013). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at various universities in Belgium, France and Luxembourg. His research interest lies in the way various practices ¿ of engineers, urban planners, architects, industrials, ecologists, farmers ¿ interact in the co-creation of an environment that allows the co-existence of men, plants and animals. Between 2018 and 2023 he was a member of the editorial board of OASE Journal for Architecture. From September 2025 onwards he holds a part-time position of assistant professor in the field of architecture, territory and landscape at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Liège. Apart from that he is currently following a training program in organic farming and agro-ecology.
