Biography
Prof. Sylvain Quoilin leads the Research Unit Integrated & Sustainable Energy System (ISES). The group conducts research in the field of Smart Energy Systems, mainly focused on the transition towards clean and renewable energy production. To that aim, it develops and maintain a variety of open-source modelling tools, such as ThermoCycle, Dispa-SET or MicroGridsPy. The main research topics are detailed hereunder.

- Combined heat & power (CHP)
