Biography
Robin Crunenberg holds a PhD in Public Health Sciences (University of Liège, 2024), an MBA (UHasselt / FHaachen / HEC ULiège, 2016), a Master's degree in Management Sciences (University of Liège, 2016), a university diploma in Phytotherapy and Aromatherapy (University of Montpellier, 2014), and a Pharmacy degree from the University of Liège (2011).
He began teaching at the university level in 2019 with a course in pharmacoeconomics and is now a professor (lecturer) at the University of Liège, where he mainly teaches pharmacy management and pharmacy administration. His courses also cover taxation, pricing policy, stock management, and the supervision of students during their internships and research projects.
His fields of expertise include pharmacy, public health, e-health, healthcare institution management, and health policies. A creative entrepreneur and strategist, he is recognized for his ability to develop innovative projects, mobilize multidisciplinary teams, and translate innovative ideas into concrete and measurable action plans.
He holds numerous institutional and associative positions: member of the First Instance Chamber at the Medical Evaluation and Control Service of the NIHDI, full member of the Commission for the Reimbursement of Pharmaceutical Products and Services (NIHDI), full member of the "Prevention and Health Promotion" and "Primary Care" commissions of AVIQ, member of the e-santé Wallonie consortium, and co-practitioner in insolvency proceedings (Liège and Eupen courts) for the Order of Pharmacists.
He is also a board member of the Société Scientifique des Pharmaciens Francophones (SSPF), board member of the Plateforme de Première Ligne Wallonne (PPLW asbl), board member and president of the Association des Unions de Pharmaciens (AUP), board member of FRATEM (a non-profit active in health data exchange and sharing), board member and co-owner of Pharmacie Crunenberg-Gillet SRL, and board member of the Association Pharmaceutique Belge (APB) and the Association des Pharmaciens de la Province de Liège (APPL). As an expert accredited by the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP), he also contributes to the transfer of community pharmacies.
His commitment reflects a constant determination to advance pharmaceutical practice, strengthen the links between research, teaching, and the field, and actively contribute to the modernization of healthcare systems in Wallonia and Belgium.
