Biography
Jean-François Céci is an assistant professor in technopedagogy at the University of Liège and a researcher at CRIFA2. A technology engineer, doctor in sociology of digital technology and education, qualified CNU 70 and 71, he teaches at the crossroads of educational and digital sciences. In particular, he trains future teachers to "teach in the digital age". A practitioner-researcher, he experiments with active pedagogies, within the framework of a reasoned, efficient and critical use of digital technology in education.
He conducts research on digital and educational transitions, the added value of digital technology in education, the hybridization of training, digital risks and cautions in the era of the Anthropocene, the critical regulation of digital technology and AI in education and on a typology of instrumented pedagogical innovation. All of this contributes to a new didactic and ethical approach to digital technology in education, particularly for teacher training.
In the associative environment for the refoundation of the School, he is administrator at An@e (National Association of School Actors), editor of the site http://www.educavox.fr
As director of the digital service, TICE mission manager then digital advisor, he participated in the strategic vision and political and technical steering of his university (UPPA, Pau, France), in terms of educational digital technology.
