Biography
Gauthier Ligot obtained his PhD thesis at the University of Liège, Gembloux Agro Bio tech, in the Forest Resources Management Department as an FNRS aspirant. He spent most of his academic career at Gembloux (Belgium). He also spent six months at the University of Joensuu (Finland) and one year at the Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada). His research focuses on monitoring and modeling the dynamics of mixed and irregular forest stands in both temperate and tropical forests. At the service of students and researchers, he readily shares his expertise in silviculture, dendrometry, modeling and statistics.
