ULiège research stations around the world • STARESO – The Submarine and Oceanographic Research Station in Calvi, Corsica is a reference site in the Mediterranean sea because of the low impact of anthropic pressure. • TRAPPIST telescopes – Two robotic telescopes used for the detection and study of exoplanets and comets, to advance the understanding of our planetary system — respectively hosted at ESO’s La Silla observatory in Chile and at the Oukaimeden observatory in Morocco • SPECULOOS – Observatory Search for Planets Eclipsing Ultra Cool Stars Project directed by the University of Liège in partnership with, notably, the University of Cambridge, MIT and the University of Bern, based on a network of telescopes across the Northern Hemisphere (Tenerife) and Southern Hemisphere (Chile), dedicated to the discovery and exploration of exoplanets. • ... and also the GIRPAS (Infrared Group of Atmospheric and Solar Physics), one of several labs housed at the JUNGFRAUJOCH, an astronomical observatory located in the Swiss Alps - one of the highest in the world.
