General Archives Service: advice and assistance

In addition to drawing up sorting instructions for departments, the General Archives Service organizes " disposal days " once a year. Containers will be available at all University sites for the disposal of documents that need to be disposed of. During these days, the General Archives Service advises the departments and signs the disposal slips , which are drawn up in collaboration with the departments.
The General Archives Department also organizes the transfer of archives (intermediary archives that have become definitive) from departments to suitable premises. Transferred archives must first be classified and packed in numbered boxes. Ideally, they are accompanied by a finding aid (index, list, inventory, etc.). The deposit must be accompanied by a deposit slip , duly completed and signed by the person responsible for the deposit and the archives department.
