Advisor to the Rector on Institutional Evaluation and Quality
Prof. Philippe HUBERT
Philippe Hubert is the Advisor to the Rector on Institutional Evaluation and Quality, a mandate he has held since 2014. In this capacity, he coordinates the quality policy of the University of Liège in close collaboration with the academic authorities and the administrations, and notably pilots the activity of the Quality Management and Support Service (SMAQ).
Philippe Hubert is a doctor in pharmaceutical sciences and professor at the ULiège Faculty of Medicine, where he has been Vice-Dean for Teaching since 2015. In the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry (LCAP), he develops methods to control the quality of pharmaceutical products and falsified drugs. He has been involved in quality processes for a long time and has chaired the ARES Commission for the Quality of Teaching and Research since 2019. Internationally, Philippe Hubert is involved in numerous development cooperation projects in Benin, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Madagascar and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
