Study Guidance Service
Mission
The Study Guidance Service is a team of academic advisors who are available to support students from all faculties at ULiège in their learning strategies throughout the year, according to their specific needs.
The team offers a variety of free activities focusing on:
- Work and study techniques, such as note-taking, managing course materials, creating personal tools (summaries, outlines, etc.), and memorisation.
- Organisational methods: planning, work pace and work-life balance, concentration, etc. during the year, exam periods and/or exam sessions.
- Adapting to university requirements: getting started, clarifying expectations and preparing for exams/tests.
- Self-regulation of practices: analysis of results, adapting behaviours and techniques, etc.
The team also offers the 'Méthode En Ligne' website (www.mel.uliege.be), which provides university students with permanent access to a range of methodological and organisational advice, without the need for prior registration.
