University Orientation Service
For all: meet the orientation and reorientation needs in higher and university education, throughout life starting from the end of secondary education, in order to promote the success and optimal use of student resources, as well as those of the community.
For ULiège students: in addition to the above mission, to provide assistance (initial listening, support, advice, referral to therapeutic services) in the event of personal or motivational difficulties that hinder investment in studies.
The University Orientation Service (SOU) offers to all ("rhétoriciens"/final-year secondary students, ULiège or external students, adults continuing education) personal interviews to help choose their studies and careers (1st choice, choice of Masters, bridging programme from a professional Bachelors, additional training, PhD...) or choices in reorientation (studies ongoing or after first diploma).
- guidance or career assessments (individual consultation by appointment) to assist in building a realistic and achievable project, to clarify your personal project or to give it a new direction
- contacts available (short consultations without appointment, within set time frames) to take stock of different possibilities, to analyse potential doubts, etc.
As well as, specifically for students at the end of secondary school, activities of group help in choosing studies or career paths.
And again, only for ULiège students,
- specific contacts available around the time of deadlines for changing disciplines
