a Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles a désigné ce 12 novembre, Vincent D’Orio, chef de service Urgences au centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) et doyen de la Faculté de Médecine de l’ULiège comme conseiller-expert du côté francophone pour élaborer une stratégie fédérale concertée en matière de tests Covid.
Il travaillera avec Yvon Englert (ancien recteur de l’ULB), qui devient le délégué général covid-19 spécifique à la Wallonie, au sein de la task force testing fédérale.
Conseiller du recteur Pierre Wolper sur les questions de santé, les affaires médicales et hospitalières, Vincent D’Orio, connait l’épidémie à la fois du côté des urgences et du côté de la mise en place de tests à grande échelle à l’université de Liège. Il plaide pour le développement d’une politique coordonnée en matière de dépistage combinant des tests rapides antigéniques et les technologies de RT-PCR pour l’harmonisation des politiques de testing afin d’équilibrer l’offre et la demande et ainsi obtenir une image en temps réel pour un contrôle optimal de l’épidémie.
