Biography
Vincent Natalis obtained his Master's degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Liège in 2019. He then joined the chemistry education laboratory to pursue a PhD on improving the teaching of thermodynamics at university level and obtained his teaching qualification. He also fulfilled the teaching duties of his position as assistant in the Department of Chemistry, teaching physical chemistry courses, as well as working with Chimistes en Herbe to promote science in secondary schools.
He was recruited in 2025 as a associate professor in chemistry education to continue his research on conceptual change and pluralism in chemistry, as well as to organise chemistry education courses in the new S4 and S5 master's programmes resulting from the Reform of Initial Teacher Training (RFIE). His work focuses on the teaching of physical chemistry, conceptual prevalence, and pluralism in science education.
