Biography
My research work focuses on the pathology of viral diseases and host-pathogen interactions. This concerns the identification of new viral infectious agents, the study of the evolution of known viruses and their virulence factors, as well as the resistance mechanisms of the host. I am particularly interested in arboviruses ("arthropod-borne viruses"), mainly Flaviviruses. This work aims to answer specific questions in veterinary medicine and public health sensu lato.
