Biography
Alexis Messina serves as a technopedagogical advisor at CARE Numérique (Digital Research and Teaching Support Unit), University of Liège. His work includes managing the University's teaching platforms, acting as community manager for the Cytomine software, and coordinating the oliver.uliege.be (OER) project. He is also a PhD candidate in SIC, specialising in game studies. Under the supervision of Björn-Olav Dozo (ULiège) and Sébastien Genvo (University of Lorraine, France), his research focuses on video games created and purposed in academic contexts. He is a member of the Liège Game Lab, Research Unit (U.R.) Traverses, and the Expressive Game Lab.
