Biography
Karl Traina received his doctorate in sciences from University of Liege in 2007. His work on solid oxide fuel cells allowed him to gain solid experience in technical fields such as the synthesis of ceramics, their shaping processes (powders, conglomerates ...) and their physico-chemical characterization (mechanical or electrochemical). Then, he contributed to the creation of a start-up (GranuTools) born from the APTIS Platform of the University of Liège by participating as scientific collaborator in the development of instruments for the study and characterization of rheological properties of powders and granular materials. After several years in a pharmaceutical company as Project Manager and Senior Consultant, he recently came back to GREENMAT to work on 3D printing, upscaling procedures and industrial contract research.
