Biography

Antoine Debuigne is currently Senior Research Associate of the "National Fund for the Scientific Research" (FNRS) attached to the "Center for Education and Research on Macromolecules" (CERM) at University of Liege (ULg). In 2004, he obtained his PhD at ULg for a research conducted in collaboration with Solvay Company. Then, he carried out a post-doctoral research in the field of controlled radical polymerization at the University of Toronto, Canada. In 2006, he returned to Liege as FNRS Postdoctoral Researcher and was promoted as FNRS Research Associate in 2010 and Senior Research Associate in 2020.

His current research interests include the development innovative macromolecular engineering methods essentially based on radical chemistry and of emulsion polymerization processes towards synthesis of advanced polymer materials of interest in healthcare applications including drud delivery systems and tissue engineering.

Keywords : Radical polymerization - emulsion polymerization - multicomponent polymerization - healthcare application - drug delivery systems - tissue engineering.
