Sexual Violence and Harassment – Together We Can Fight It!

The University is committed to combating all forms of harassment and violence, including those based on gender or sexual orientation or other forms of discrimination within its community. Because of the legislation, the response will differ depending on whether the complainant (or witness) is a student or a member of staff.

You are a victim: who to contact? How is care provided at ULiège? What support organisations exist outside ULiège? Are you a witness? Your role is important! The violentometer: a prevention tool

Harassment is unacceptable

Sexual harassment and violence are criminal offences. Penalties can include up to 2 years' imprisonment or a fine of several thousand euros.

The University applies ministerial circular 8526. With a range of services and advice, the University has set up a reception and support service for victims with personalized information on how to respond, and various awareness-raising and training methods. The Gender and Equality Council works to improve responses to different situations and existing procedures.
