Quality culture is one of the University of Liège's top priorities. Numerous initiatives are taken within the institution to improve teaching, research and administrative operations.

Quality policy - education

The University of Liège is committed to providing quality education. This quality policy represents a commitment to improving educational offerings, encouraging innovation, ensuring transparency, evaluating actions and reinforcing civic engagement. These objectives are essential if we are to meet the expectations of all our stakeholders.

Quality management

The challenge for the institution's quality management is to develop a quality culture, which she defines by two key phrases: "fitness for purpose" (critical assessment of the match between objectives and resources) and "capacity for change" (adjustment capacity).

Labels and accreditations

The University of Liège's ongoing commitment to quality is reflected in a series of international labels and accreditations, both general and specific to certain Faculties or courses.

Quality Management and Support Service (SMAQ)

The SMAQ team's mission is to promote, coordinate and disseminate a culture of quality. It implements and supports evaluations organized internally and those carried out by ULiège's evaluators, certifiers or accreditors.

The RQLab network (RQLab)

Departments involved in a quality approach all face similar challenges, and generally use the same quality management tools in pursuit of similar objectives.

Risk management

The Université de Liège has formally committed itself to a proactive policy of a global approach to managing the risks associated with its activities. This commitment to Risk Management is part of a dynamic of continuous improvement, outreach and attractiveness.
