arnabé Walheer is a lecturer in economics at HEC Liège. He obtained his PhD from ULB's Solvay Brussels School in 2016, after completing a master's degree in quantitative economics (2011) and a master's degree in statistics (2013) at ULB. He then completed his training at the University of Liverpool, where he obtained a Certificate of Professional Studies (2018). He has published several single-authored articles in the European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, Energy, Energy Economics, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Applied Economics Letters and Social Indicators Research. His current research projects include non-parametric energy efficiency analysis, the performance index, the composite index and growth and convergence issues, with applications to the energy, tourism, services and manufacturing sectors.

A lecturer in microeconomics and applied econometrics, Barnabé Walheer teaches a "Political Economy - Microeconomics" course to baccalaureate students at HEC Liège. He also teaches three courses to master's students at HEC: "Environmental and Energy Economics", "Advanced Microeconomics", and "Applied Microeconometrics".
